Nov 13, 2012 · I see lots of problems with this. For example, “255.255.255.255” is NOT a valid IP address; it is a broadcast address. On the other side, “10.10” IS a valid address, it is the equivalent of “10.10.0.0” and your apps should probably fill in the last couple octets when it encounters this type of address.
