We just recently upgraded the router and modem for our home internet. I can connect to the internet through other devices (work computer, etc.), but am unable to connect through my 7 year old Compaq Presario CQ50. Currently, it is connecting to the "unidentified network", but won't connect to the internet. So far, I've: 1. It uses a PCMCIA card (TrendNet TE100-PC16R). Vista found it and installed the driver with no problem. However, I can't connect to the Internet. It says I have limited connection. Normally in XP, I can just plug in the cable and I am on. I don't even have to join the domain here at work.
