May 22, 2020 · Searching for guidance from 1Password on migrating from KeePass yielded nothing. I found a thread on this from the 1Password support forum (somehow search doesn’t include this content). A team member suggests using a test version of a converter utility, that supposedly then imports KeePass entries to 1Password.

Keepass 2 can export to CSV, and 1Password for Windows can import that data. However, you must convert the exported file to UTF-8 (Using Notepad is sufficient) to avoid some characters from being botched due to Mojibake .

The Ignore field type indicates a column that should be ignored during the import. The importer will read the values for this column, but not do anything with it (i.e. not copy it to any entry field). This field type is useful when importing a CSV file that contains a column that cannot be mapped to any field supported by KeePass. Group.

Dashlane import is only available on 1Password.com and requires a 1Password account. Step 1: Export your data from Dashlane Before you export your data from Dashlane, temporarily turn off any backup software you may be using, so the unencrypted export file isn’t backed up.

Here is the problem & solution that I have found, not a quick export from KeePass v2 and import Password Safe v3 but a work around that worked for me.
