May 22, 2020 · Searching for guidance from 1Password on migrating from KeePass yielded nothing. I found a thread on this from the 1Password support forum (somehow search doesn’t include this content). A team member suggests using a test version of a converter utility, that supposedly then imports KeePass entries to 1Password.
With Sticky Password, you can import your passwords that are currently stored in the various browsersyou use on your devices. When you import this CSV, e.g. the third line will result in an entry in the root group with a user name 'admin' and a password 'xxx', because the first fields are empty. KeePass' behavior is perfectly correct. But of course it's not what you wanted. You expected an empty cell to repeat the value of the first non-empty cell above it. Jul 05, 2018 · Our goal with this is to not only import the passwords from KeePass, but to also replicate the structure of the KeePass Groups in Passwordstate. For customers not familiar with Passwordstate, the equivalent of a “Group” in KeePass is a “Password List” in Passwordstate.
Keepass 2 can export to CSV, and 1Password for Windows can import that data. However, you must convert the exported file to UTF-8 (Using Notepad is sufficient) to avoid some characters from being botched due to Mojibake .
The Ignore field type indicates a column that should be ignored during the import. The importer will read the values for this column, but not do anything with it (i.e. not copy it to any entry field). This field type is useful when importing a CSV file that contains a column that cannot be mapped to any field supported by KeePass. Group.
Dashlane import is only available on 1Password.com and requires a 1Password account. Step 1: Export your data from Dashlane Before you export your data from Dashlane, temporarily turn off any backup software you may be using, so the unencrypted export file isn’t backed up.
Password Safe to the rescue v 3.35 works almost like RoboForm with a HUGE advantage, the database is under your control not RoboForm in the cloud somewhere. Here is the problem & solution that I have found, not a quick export from KeePass v2 and import Password Safe v3 but a work around that worked for me.
